Team Building: a Glider Simulation

Team Building: a Glider Simulation is a high-energy, hands-on business simulation workshop designed to bring teamwork, communication, and adaptability to life. Working in small teams, participants take on the challenge of designing, building, marketing, and testing a glider prototype while navigating real-world constraints such as time, budget, resources, and changing client expectations.

Expect the unexpected! As priorities shift and new challenges emerge, teams must communicate effectively, make decisions, negotiate competing demands, and adapt their approach. The experience creates a dynamic environment where participants can see firsthand how their team operates under pressure. The session then culminates in a live product showcase: teams pitch their glider to a “client” before putting their prototypes to the test. A facilitated debrief then connects the experience to the workplace, helping participants identify practical insights and opportunities to strengthen their own team effectiveness.
