Peer Mentoring and Learning Circles
Peer Mentoring
Peer mentoring is a facilitated process whereby groups of 4-6 LEAP participants convene to support each other to overcome leadership challenges that they face, while promoting high levels of camaraderie and accountability. We use a structured process consisting of:
- Surfacing of challenges
- Inquiry to promote understanding of context and root causes
- Brainstorming to create a wide variety of possible actions
- Creation and sharing of action plans
Learning Circles
Learning Circles are typically 90-minute meetings comprising groups of 7-10 LEAP participants.
Each meeting is focused on exploring a single key question together to develop further insights. Examples include asking people what they notice about themselves when leading at their best/worst, how to manage in a hybrid environment, or how to adapt their leadership style to an important element of organizational strategy.
Learning Circles facilitate dialogue and listening, and result in self-awareness, learning and mindset shifts.
